Furthur - Not Fade Away/ Happy Birthday Phil 03-12-2010

For http://deadvids.com 24/7 Streaming Grateful Dead Video. Shot from inside the Box of Rain float.

From bearlyanne:
On March 12th 2010,seven thousand fans converged on the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium to celebrate the 70th birthday of legendary bassist, Phil Lesh from the Grateful Dead.
A Mardis Gras style parade and balloon drop accompanied the band as they played Happy Birthday.
This was shot from inside of the Box of Rain float led by crewe chief, Cheffy, representing both Lillie Belle Farms chocolates and DNC (deadnetcentral).
Please note that the darkness from the beginning was shot while the parade participants lined up backstage. The parade route also changed mid-march, leaving the mounted camera facing out into the crowd instead of at the stage…I remedied that by dismounting the camera and trying to move about on a jiggling float. The video shows all that -lol! ENJOY!
Special Thanks to Cheffy, Dan, Katrinka, Chervil, and Elk for making the concept a reality!
